Art the Greeter at the Beach Club

The Beach club is an Awesome resort. I love Art, the location and the atmosphere and stormalong bay.

Cape May Cafe has a great character breakfast! Very fun relaxed atmosphere, great variety of food also. The characters are usually Goofy, Minnie, Chip & Dale.

Have a great trip and take lots of pictures!

I love that you interview boyfriends by taking them to WDW, I do the same and they have to get by Art and be approved . LOL

Your so correct no trip does officially start til you see the salute from Art and hear the hello.

You're so right. If a guy can't keep up with me at WDW and love it (or at least tolerate it with a smile) then he's not the guy for me.

Oh what a wonderful idea!!! We just got back home from our 4th stay at the BC, our favorite resort!! When we had arrived after a very very stressful 6 monthes Art was there to greet us and it was like we were home!!!

I do not have a picture of this but my sister in law - (my husbands brother wife) did not come to our wedding because she claimed her oldest child was sick - long story - she did not want to come to our wedding and had been pulling crap threating to not come. Ok she was at Disney but that morning did not attened the ceremony. But brought both children to the reception at the BC- she had NO clue where she was going and on our video you can see ART carrying our little nephew. She is wacky and he helped her find the reception, we got such a kick out of having him on our video - of course we wishe she was not there... Our reception was at Ariels November 2006. - you can add that story you don't have to add the psycho sis in law part!

I had the pleasure of meeting Art a few years ago. Now whenever I stay at the BCV I make sure I stop by and chat w/Art. He's a wonderful man.

He's a friend of "Stan the Man" at the WL also.

Our stays at WDW just are not officially started until we say hi to Art!!! We are always trekking over from BW to say hi. My dd just loves him. He is such a terrific example of all that is good about WDW. Perhaps each new CM could spend a day shadowing Art to see how to treat the guests!!!

To Art....keep up the good work. You are indeed a true Disney treasure. I'm honored to have you in many pictures in our trip scrapbooks!! Thanks for all you do!!!

Hello Everyone -

I'm putting together a scrapbook for Art of stories and photos. I have lots of pictures of him from different times. I just wanted to put together something to show him that he is a "Icon" of the beach club.

If you have any stories or pics you would like to share with him please pm me or reply here.

I don't think he realizes how many scrapbooks and photo albums he really is in!!

I'm looking to give it to him for christmas.

He is, in my opinion, the epitome of what a Disney employee should be! Beyond that he is a true gentleman! One person I look forward to seeing each visit, he NEVER fails to spread the magic!
