ART question

Hi all. I was just on the ART site and I don't see where it picks up near the Hilton Garden Inn and Embassy Suites South. I clicked on every link; did they change their routes? I am trying to figure out where the best place to pick/drop off would be from the ES South.

:thanks:

We will be staying at ES South in Aug and it's my understanding that they don't have an ART stop. They have a third party shuttle service for their hotel and the cost is $5 per adult and $2 per kid per day. I called the hotel directly to get pricing and it leaves 15 after the hour and 15 before the hour all day long.

You would get on rotes 1 or 2, going up Harbor,, it will go up towards Target.. not sure exactly where you would get off.. try google earth and the ART map to figure out exactly where you would get off., we stayed along there once. and on our way back to the hotel we would get off where we got on and walked a little bit to the hotel.. it would stop on the way back near us but it would tack on another 5 to 10 minutes to our trip because it went so far up the road.. .. the ART should go close to where your hotel is.. http://rideart.org/routes-and-schedules/harbor-blvd-line/

Yes, thank you. I knew this info. I was hoping to find an ART stop nearby as they offer a cheaper multi-day pass. The ES shuttle leaves 45 minutes prior to park opening and the last shuttle leaves an hour after the last parks closes. :thumbsup This is a super budget trip so I am trying to save everywhere we can. On the other hand, not sharing a shuttle like ART does save time.

Thanks! I'll try looking. When we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn it had an ART stop and the HGI is right next to the ES.

Routes 1 and 2, you get can off at the Stanford stop. IIRC there is also one more stop a little further down on that route on 1 that would get you closer to your destination. Ask any of the drivers though, for clarification. They'll get you where you need to be, they were all very nice.
