Art of Animation Rooms requests

For those who have stayed at a cars suite at Art, What are the choices to pick a room? For instance I want to face the land like the cars and not the lake or parking lot. Or I just want a room to request. What are the opitions for requests, all Online check in is giving me is Close to bus. I am staying at Movies a few days before, so can I have movies send in a request for me since I don't have a fax?

No, Movies will not send a fax to another hotel. Rooms are assigned several days before you arrive. Call the main reservation number and have your requests added to your reservation.

I would call the main reservations line and ask that "view of cars" "top floor" be added as requests on your reservation. If you aren't happy with your room assignment when you check in, you can always ask the front desk if they have something available in your desired location.

Make sure your request is for a room in the category you booked-
Also a request is only a request and not guaranteed no matter what any well meaning CM tells you

We stayed in a Cars suite (upgrade). We had a room with a view of the cozy cone pool and all the cars that were in the courtyard area. Knowing Disney as i do you would have to pay extra for that view.

There are no "view" categories at AoA. The only categories are the themed areas - Cars, Nemo, Lion King or Little Mermaid. OP booked a Cars Suite so can request a view of the pool and the cars. It's not guaranteed, but it will not cost him extra.

Really, i did not know that. Because the view out the front of the cars suite where all the cars are as well as the cozy cone pool area is really nice. I know that at Wilderness lodge they charge for different views but maybe that's only at Deluxe? But to conclude in the cars building just ask to be in front near enterance and you will have a great view out the window.

It just depends on the resort. Some of the values and mods also have "view" categories. AoA just happens to be only "theme" specific, however, the Nemo theme typically prices out more than the other themes due to the location of the Nemo buildings (closer to lobby, QS, transportation, etc.). WDW probably could charge more for the view OP is requesting, but let's not give them any ideas!
