Hi everyone! I saw all the posts others were making about their AR's, so I thought I would share mine as well. This will be my fourth trip to the World since May 2003, and my fiance's first trip EVER, so I wanted the experience to be as magical as possible. We will be there Thurs 9/15-Thurs 9/22. We're a family of four, including me: 30, my fiance-28, DD-5, and DS-2 (will be 3 on 9/17 so this is also a birthday celebration!!!
). We always do several character meals since the kids enjoy them so much...and I do, too!
Thurs 9/15 (arrival evening)- Crystal Palace @ 5:10 (I'm trying to get an AR for a slightly later time...so far this is all they have). We've done breakfast and lunch here before and loved both!
Fri 9/16- Breakfast- Rainforest Cafe(AK)-@ 9:45. My kids love this place, but we've only done lunch and dinner at DTD, so I thought we'd try the b-fast. It looks wonderful!
Dinner- O'hana @ 8:10- We're staying at the Poly the first three nights, and we've only done the character breakfast here. I thought it would be awesome to eat dinner and enjoy Wishes here.
Sat 9/17- My baby boy's birthday!!
Breakfast- O'hana @ 10:00...he loves the characters!
Dinner- Chef Mickey's with a cake delivered! I think this is the meal I'm most excited about...not so much the food, but for Brant's special day
Sun 9/18- Lunch- Coral Reef @ 12:00. I couldn't make up my mind on this one, as there are so many restaurants in Epcot I'd love to try, but I thought the kids would love the aquarium for sure, and the menu sounds really good.
Dinner- Le Cellier- 7:00- I have been dying to try this place. We actually had PS's last year on our trip, but ended up cancelling because we had Rose and Crown for the same day for Illuminations and just decided we weren't that hungry.
Mon 9/19- Cape May Cafe- Breakfast @ 8:00. We've done this before and really liked it. We'll be moving to BCV on Sunday night, so I decided we should do this one again. One of these trips, I'll get around to trying dinner there.
Lunch (very light) @ 12:10- SciFi Cafe. I'm choosing this mainly for the atmosphere, although I do enjoy the food. I just know my fiance will love it...that's the main reason I want to go. We'll probably end up splitting a meal...in fact, we'll probably split a few meals on this vacation, lol.
Dinner- Brown Derby @ 6:00. I just want to try this place so bad. All the reviews are terrific, and it sounds delicious. I had booked the FDP, but the latest ressie I could get was 4:00, so I cancelled the FDP in favor of a later seating. I'm taking a chance we'll still get seats for Fantasmic @ 8...hopefully it won't be a problem in the middle of September.
Tues 9/20- DD(5) to Grand Adventures in Cooking at 10:00 am. It's the only Grand Adventure she hasn't done, and I think she'll really enjoy it. Lol, she loves to help in the kitchen. This morning she made us all scrambled eggs.
The rest of us will probably just grab a light snack until (insert fanfare here):
Lunch: CRT @ 12:40. Yay...I'm so excited about this! We did breakfast there before, but the lunch menu sounds really good...and I've been dying to try that slipper dessert.
Dinner: Mickey's Backyard BBQ @ 6:30. Maybe someday my kids will tire of this, but I don't see it happening in the near future, lol. I almost had DD convinced to do HDDR...almost. Oh well, I enjoy it, too. The food is really good...and it's really a fun atmosphere.
Wed 9/21- Tonight my fiance and I are going to LaNouba. The kids will stay with Fairy Godmothers (we've never been let down by them
).
Dinner before 9:30 show @ Fulton's: 6:40. I've been dreaming of this restaurant!! I hope I don't leave disappointed.
Thurs 9/22- 1900 Park Fare Breakfast @ 8:10. We've only done dinner here, so I figured...why not! I heart Alice in Wonderland, so this may be more for me than anyone else, lol.
Dinner- Whispering Canyon 5:30- We love this place. It wouldn't be a WDW vacation without a trip here!
One of these days, I'd like to try a few more "grown-up" places, but for the time being, I'm more than happy with my choices. Comments or suggestions??
I'm all ears, lol
