Arriving mid-day to US or IOA

Hi everyone,
We are arriving half way through the day June 3 (Wednesday) to US or IOA (not sure which one we will go to first). Because we are only going for 3 full days but have the 5 days for price of two tickets we don't mind just using up one of the days for an afternoon. We were wondering which park you would suggest, and perhaps what attractions to see so late in the day?

I would think that most of the rides would be really crowded and that maybe taking in the shows would be the best option for this day.

Any suggestions??

If you are staying on site it does not matter when you get there. Even if the crowds are big and the lines are long it will have little or no affect on you.

If you are staying off site. Try to use the free express passes if they are available to you. With these we would get an express pass for the ride of our choice then go to another ride will you wait for your time slot for your express pass. We found that these worked perfectly because by the time you finish with the first ride your express pass would be valid for you to go on that ride. Just continue this routine till you work your way around the park. You could also buy express passes for each ride but with the cost of those you might as well stay ON site and get that priveledge for free.

Go to USF. The movie attractions hold many people, even if you have to wait 20 minutes to get into the first preshow.
If the wait for them is too long, then go see some shows. Get there 20 minutes early and you should get in. If you stay until closing, some lines may shorten as the tired leave.
