Arriving Halloween-Decorations?

We will be arriving around noon on Oct 31st and want to get a glipse of the MK decorated for Halloween. Will it close early due to attendance? How long is it decorated for Halloween? Are the other parks decked out as well?

We will not be there for the MNSSHP, but would like to see the decorations. How soon are the parks dressed for Thanksgiving?

Would this be a good night to go to the Adventures Club?

Any help would be great.

I could be wrong, but I was just there last week and none of the decorations were up beforehand. They were all up around 6:30 when I arrived at MNSSHP. I think they try to start putting them up around 6, when the park closes for the party to start at 7.

There are no halloween decorations that are out for Halloween other than for the MNSSHP. We went last October and I thought it would be really done up for Halloween. I was disappointed that the parks didnt have much at all. There are a few fall decorations out on Main Street, but thats it. If you want to see decorations, you have to go to the party!

The parks are not dressed for Halloween or Thanksgiving. For Halloween, the only decor that goes up is for the party, so as someone has already said, you'll need to go to the party if you want to see the decorations.

Likewise, there's no big Thanksgiving decor either. The day after Thanksgiving is when Christmas decorations go up, so it's not really prudent (considering the amount of space they have to cover) to decorate specifically for Thanksgiving too.

Disneyland Paris is really the only Disney park that goes all out for Halloween.

As for crowds, MK is not likely to close at capacity for Halloween. The party that night will be busy, and the park will be crowded because Halloween is on a Sunday, but it shouldn't be so crowded it closes.

Thanks all for the info. We were hoping to catch the parks all dressed up. Never been there for the Christmas holiday season.

they dont even have the pumpkin carving contests at the resorts anymore? that sucks....in 2002 on the 31st...a day we went resort hopping b4 party all resorts had a contest where the CM's did the pumpkins and we (guests) voted on which we though was best....

I'm not sure what they do at the resorts. Each resort has different decor and activities, so it's likely that at least one of them is doing pumpkin carving.
