Arriving day early--WWYD?

Here is our situation--DH, DD12 and I are driving down to Florida from Connecticut. On the way, we'll stop to visit my brother in North Carolina. We arrive in Florida on Sat, Aug 29. Our ressie at ASMu doesn't start until Sun, Aug 30. We have to pick up DD13 from the Orlando airport at noon on Sun (she will have spent the previous week in Ohio with my parents). So, do we extend our ressie back to cover Sat, or find another hotel nearby to cool our heels for the night, or just stop an hour or so away to make the day a little easier? We do have free dining if that helps anyone in their advice.

I would move the ressie to cover Sat that would give you more dining credits

I would move my reservation to Sat., and play by the pool for the day, and have a fun resturant reservation for later in the evening...that just what I would do.

We drove from Maryland and got there the night before our reservations started as well. We decided to get a room outside the world for the night it was Marriot Courtyard I believe with AAA discount it was about $90 and we ordered Pizza to be delivered then the kids swam with DH while I got bags striaght for the next day. We then headed over to the local Walmart and bought a few Disney themed things autograph books and stuffed mickeys so we wouldnt have to buy them at the parks. I enjoyed that night a lot and we were only about 8 mins from our resort the next day so we could check in and head for AK.

I am doing the day early thing but I am staying at a motel near Orlando airport. I really can't afford an extra night at BCv...
