Can't decide for the arrival night dinner. No Park that day.

1) Wolfgang Puck - table service one.
2) 1900 Park Fare - my daughter is big cinderella fan!

Staying at POFQ - so DTD is easy to get to.

If you say Wolfgang Puck, would you do 1900 Park Fare another night or Garden Grill another night later on in the week? She is also a huge mickey fan. We will do chef mickey the last morning.

Thanks :-)

I think starting the trip out with a charcter meal is always a great idea! you could eat dinner, jump on the monorail, ride it around and through EPCOT.... if you time it right, you could be riding while illuminations or MK fireworks are flying! It could be fun!! I say go with 1900 park fare.

Well since your daughter is a huge Cindy fan I woudl DEF go w/ 1900 park fare. The character interaction was great when we went last year.
I agree DTD is a little easier to get to- BUT since the grand floridian is on the monorail, I'd just take a magic kingdom bus then hop the monorail to GF.
PLUS it's just super fun to ridethe monorail :-)
Give yourselves plenty of time to get there- i'd budget an hour or even more. and if you get to GF too early- it's a gorgeous place to walk around adn explore!

So yeah- def my vote for 1900 park fare.

Would you still do Wolfgang Puck another night? Maybe the night we do Animal Kingdom - that is mid-week and just want that be a half day and then just relax at the pool?

If so - I think I would skip Garden Grill.

Thanks!

With the kids, I'd do WGP Express, but not the table service one.

I would still say to do Wolfgang Puck Cafe, we went in Feb and it was our DD6's favourite meal. Although she was on adult DP and had the flatiron steak!

What is my chances of getting 1900 Park Fair on arrival night at a normal time - like even 5pm?

I would definitely do 1900 PF. It's one of our favorites and our daughter LOVES the characters. The stepsisters are great. We've never had a problem getting reservations here.

1900 is one of my favorite restaurants - I'd definately start here. WGP is good as well but I'd save it for another night. I agree with the PP who said starting out with a character meal is a good idea. Especially if you have kids. :cutie:

Go to O'Hana at the Polynesian. Get ressies for an hour and a half before the Wishes fireworks, and request a table by the window. It's warm, friendly, fun, and the perfect place to start your Disney vacation.

We do this each time we go, we plan to eat at a Magic Kingdom resort and then ride the monorail...it's a great way to start your vacation.:thumbsup2
