We got back to WL around 2:30 p.m. We stopped in Roaring Forks Counter Service and got a quick bite to eat since we didn't eat much at the water park.
I decided to relax since we'd be going to Epot for dinner tonight at LeCellier around 6:30 p.m. It started raining when we got to our room. There were severe thunderstorms and just a huge downpour for hours.
Sidenote: I seriously considered getting tickets to the Pirate and Princess party at the MK again for tonight because we had such a good time on Tuesday. Boy, was I glad that I didn't because of all this rain and thunderstorms.
Close to 5:30 p.m. it was still raining. DS and I discussed cancelling our reservations and just staying in tonight but eventually decided to go. DS went to the arcade while I finished getting ready for dinner.
As we entered Epot the rain let up a little so at least we wouldn't be soaked as we made our way to Canada. The gardens around Canada were so pretty. I had never eaten at LeCellier so I was looking forward to it, especially after reading all the great reviews.
As we entered the downstairs restaurant, I thought it was a nice setting although some of the seats were a little close together and they were busy. Our waiter was a nice guy and did a good job. He said they're the most popular restaurant and also the smallest. Anyway, I ordered a canadian beer and DS had some sort of non-alcoholic drink which he loved and ordered two. For appetizers, I had the tomatoes and cheese stack, which was delicious and DS had the cesaer salad, which was okay. He's used to the salad being cut up and this was just the big pieces of lettuce. We both had filets, which were also very good. I ordered mine med.well and it was just a little overdone for me...but it was still tender. And, of course, the bread was great. For dessert, I had the creme brulee and DS had the chocolate moose. Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant. I wouldn't hesitate to make reservations here again
When we headed out of the restaurant, it was still raining. It wasn't a downpour but was a steady rain. There was a ton of water on the ground. I had flat sandals on with no back and I kept sliding. I felt like I was on ice skates

I eventually had to take them off if I wanted to get anywhere. In some areas, the water was up to our ankles.
We decided to do a couple of things in future world that we haven't seen for a while. We saw Honey, I shrunk the Audience. It's been quite a while since I saw this and it was still enjoyable. After the show, we spotted a booth where you can get your picture taken for $5.00. This was so much fun. You could pick the background and we were being so silly trying to center ourselves in the photo. When I asked the girl at the desk for a bag so my picture wouldn't get wet she was laughing and pointed to the ceiling. She said she was watching us on a screen. Oops! I didn't know that was there as we were acting silly behind the curtain
After that, we went to the Living Seas pavillion. We rode the Nemo ride (the clam shells) and saw the interactive show with Crush afterwards. This was a very cute attraction but certainly geared towards the younger set.
It was still raining out so we hurried to Mission Space. We did the non-spinning side. In my opinion, this side is still pretty good. A couple of years ago, I rode the spinning side and disliked it enormously. Not too many rides make me sick but this one did.
As we were leaving, the rain stopped...
Saturday, August 25th - Our last day in the World
We got up early because we had reservations at Cape May Cafe for 9:00 a.m. I decided to take a taxi, why not splurge on our last day. This was a little expensive, I think around $20.00 including tip.
We only waited a few minutes before being seated. This restaurant is also very busy but they did a good job at keeping the food replenished and hot. In my opinion, much better than Chef Mickey's. While eating we got to see the gang
I really wanted to try and see a few more countries in World Showcase and since we could walk to Epcot from the Beach Club, this is where we headed. We entered the park but as we turned right to go to WS a girl stopped us and said WS didn't open til 11:00 and it was now only 10:25. We decided not to wait and caught the boat to MGM. This ride seemed to take forever...stopped at the Yacht Club, Swan or Dolphin and then eventually to the park.
We went on TOT several times, one of our favorites, took some character pictures (Darth Vader and the Storm Trooper), and just wandered around. I had made reservations for Sci-Fi Dine in for earlier in the week but cancelled them. I was disappointed cause I wanted to check this place out. Fortunately, I was able to walk in and be seated just to get dessert. I was curious about the restaurant after reading the reviews on the atmosphere. W both ordered hot fudge sundaes, which was very good. The atmosphere is really cool

Actually feels like your at a drive in movie. Can't comment on the actual food, though.
Once outside, it was so hot be decided to head back to WL.
We spent our last evening at the MK. We decided to take it easy since we had just about seen everything already. When we got to the park we wanted to go on Space Mt. again but the line was ridiculous. We were in the vicinity of Toon Town and wanted a few more pictures of Mickey

before we left. While waiting in line that's when the rain started. We ended up hanging around Toon Town for over an hour cause of the rain and thunder. I eventually, had to get out of there so I bought a couple of ponchos and we braved the rain.
The line for Space Mt. was still very long and it was still raining so we decided to call it a night. Had to stop in the candy store on the way out and bought some gifts for home and a couple of those huge carmel apples
Sunday, August 26th - Back Home
ME was picking us up at 10:00 a.m. for our 1:00 p.m. flight. I considered taking a taxi because we were very rushed in the morning. I envisioned a relaxing last morning like having a coffee on the balcony and a leisurely breakfast. It didn't happen...we barely made it to the bus. But, we did make it and we had a smooth non-stop flight home.
Some Final Thoughts on our trip....
We had a fantastic time. The hotels were great, the only thing I didn't like was the enclosed balcony on the 6th floor of WL. Fortunately, we were able to move.
The Dining Plan is also a great deal. Although, it really seemed like a ton of food this time. Even more so than when we were there in January. Maybe, because we were there for more days. I think we actually left a couple of counter service credits. The food at Roaring Forks was the most I have ever seen at a counter service restaurant.
The crowd level was still pretty heavy this time of year. There are people everywhere, just not the parks....I know this is Disney...
Hopefully, our trip was able to give a few tips and ideas for your next visit to Disney or Universal - thanks for reading
