I bought them for my boys to take to camp. They are really hard to stretch into the frame. Does anyone know the trick to make this easy enough for an 11 yob. I can't even do it, my dh had to set them up.

TIA,
LT

We have two xlarge type 'army' cots and my husband (who is hugely strong) is the only one in our family who can set them up. We rarely use them because of this.

Well, rats. I thought for sure the Dis would have the secret. Do you suppose they "loosen up" over time/use?

Ok, my living room is a sea of cots. Maybe they'll stretch?

As the cots are sitting there all set-up, could you maybe put something with some weight to it and let that sit on all the cots for a day or two? Maybe try to stretch them out a little bit?....(Thinking of the person who said they stretch a bit after they're used for a while).

agnes!
PS - How about a cinder-block or two (haha)? Or all the kids luggage/backpacks?
