Is this best for Lunch or Dinner? We will be going there for one of our friend's daughter birthday that will be turning 3. How soon can we make reservations? What is the difference between reservations and PS?

The menu is the same for both lunch and dinner. So which ever time works better for you would be what I'd do. We've done it several different times and never really noticed a huge difference in so far as how busy it is.

PS is priority seating, so the same as reservations.

Typically you can make a PS for any TS meal at Disneyland 60 days out. I do remember reading that a few people had trouble making one for Ariel's that far out right now.. something about an issue with their reservation system IIRC. I'd still try to call anyway though if you're in that time frame.

There is another thread around here (OK I can't figure out how to insert it here) that talks about how folks are not able to make PS for Ariel's after mid september......you might want to read that one.

I called yesterday to make a booking for Ariel's Grotto and was told they wouldn't be able to do it until this weekend, due to the seating arrangements being changed.
