DD was watching that show for the first time over the weekend and I made her turn it off. Cat's voice is like nails on a chalkboard.

I beleive she sang at the Disney Radio Awards a few weeks ago so she does have some type of tie-in. Also not a fan of "Cat's" voice but, Ariana is a very good singer.

After watching it, I'm left with a couple pressing questions.

1)So her hair really isn't red?
2)What the heck is EDM?
3)At the end of the video, was she off to the BOG Restaurant to try her "adulthood" (Walt would be SPINNING in his grave!!!!!!!!!!)

Good point.

It's just not everyday that Disney "promotes" a current Nickelodeon star.

I can't imagine Dove Cameron or Peyton List,etc. being photographed at Nick Hotel for use on their website!

1. Nope, her red hair and goofy personality is purely for the Disney shows. The hugely underplay her immense singing talent. the girl has great pipes and will have a long and illustrious singing career if she keeps he head on straight.

2. EDM stands for Electronic Dance Music. Basically the kind of music you hear at a dance club that has all the younger crowd dancing.

3. Well her 21st seemed a lot more toned own than mine did.

Right there with you. Watched the premiere of Big Brother and their straight from Central Casting Token Gay pronounced "I am the brother to one of the biggest superstars in the world." Then he said her name and I was instantly to google cause I had never heard of her either.

I saw this on the parks blog today and had no idea who she was. I've never heard of her. Then I watched the Big Brother premiere tonight (don't judge me) and her brother is a contestant going on and on about her.

From my perspective, she literally became a celebrity today.
