ARGH! PIN frustration!

Okay, what am I doing wrong?!?

I've ordered a DVD, maps, lurk on the WDW site as often as I can, trying out and saving different packages deals for ALL tiers of hotels and I can't get a PIN to save my life!

Is there anything else I can try to entice the computer to show me some love?

I am praying for a PIN because I honestly don't want to stay at a value! If I can get a PIN, depending on how good it is, we will definately upgrade to a mod and maybe go deluxe. I know, there is nothing wrong with the values, but I don't want to stay there - they don't feel like Disney to me with the theming.

We could go for a mod right now, but I'd rather save the extra money for things we haven't been able to try in the past. We are planning downtime and renting surrey bikes at the hotel. I'm considering taking DS(4) on the hot air balloon attraction at DTD.

Souvie $ isn't an issue - we never buy much, just silhouettes and a plush for each kid, maybe a tee. We've got our ears, so we don't require much!

Plus we are doing DDP.

Look on expedia or travelocity. They are posting the same rates for spring that I received with a pin code.

We have a pin we aren't using as the Disney site is offering the same discounts right now. You can call disney or book right online. So no worries....if you are going in the next few months. Are you sure you signed up for their emails? If you haven't done that, you might miss the pin.

I got one for DL that expires in June - I'm hoping for a PIN for September. I'd gladly give up FD if we got a slammin' PIN!

You aren't doing anything wrong. I have no idea why the marketing gurus only send pixie dust to a select few.

I've done everything you have and the only pin I got was in October that ended the first week of June. We are going in August. My DH got the same code last month for the same ending date with the same book by date.

I'm hoping some general codes come out in March for my time frame. I am booked at what we can afford. I will upgrade if we get a good code.

THe only thing I can suggest is making up a new profile for another member of your family. I am the one who always makes the reservations - never got a pin and I was doing all the things you were. I made up a new profile for my DH with a new e-mail and saved some offers. I received a pin a short time later. Try and I hope it works

Delete your cookies, temp internet files and clear your cache (if applicable) on your computer then go back on disney's site and delete your vacation offers and try saving new ones. Make sure you are saving them within current 'pin' offer dates. Like try June 3-10th. That will overlap you thru 2 seasons and 2 different pin periods, but outside of the current all public period.

Its worth a shot, I dont know why the play online thing isn't working for you it worked for me back in November and I signed up a friend and did it last week for her on Monday, but Saturday she had a pin. Oh and stay off of there for a few days after you redo everything. Thats what worked for me, once I stopped going on everyday they sent me the pin, I think in hopes to bring me back to the site.

Try not logging in for a week or two, and then pricing out some trips. I've read that if you don't log in for awhile, but then come back, they sometimes send a pin. It worked for me!

I must be on the "No Discount For You" list.
We're still going to POFQ regardless, but I just keep hoping.

If you set your dates for the fall.. (late fall at that) do keep in mind that PIN codes will really proliferate for those dates around April / May..

I had no idea about the date thing... I'm just impatient I guess! I have seen people getting great PINs that were good for the whole year and was hoping for one of those!

We are going regardless, but with a good PIN I can upgrade our hotel. Here's to hoping!
