Are you sure this is our table?? *w/PICS* !COMPLETED!

I'm so trying WGPE!!! It looks soo good!

It was good! The atmosphere was also really great.

WGPe is by far the best CS for the value at least. Their Pizza's are very good!

I can't wait to go back and try more things!

Hi there!
I just found this dining report and I love it. I'm a vegetarian too, so I love seeing all the different veggie options. I didn't make an ADR at Ohana because I was afraid it would be only meat, but it looks like I was wrong! Did you call ahead and note that you were a vegetarian on your reservation, or did you just ask for a vegetarian entree when you got there? Thanks for the great reviews!!

YAY! I'm excited for my next trip because my friend that's coming with me is also a vegetarian! Usually I'm with meat eaters and try to please everyone with the ADR's. Definitely consider Ohana - you can't eat the wings, pot-stickers, or the meat from the skewers. However you can still enjoy the bread, salad, veggies, noodles, and DESSERT! That's MORE than enough but you can also get the veggie option in addition to all that.

The first time I went to Disney as a veggie I told them CM when I made my ADR's. She told me that the WDW restaurants are prepared for most dietary restrictions so it's not necessary to tell them until you arrive at each restaurant.

Thanks for joining in!

OK everyone, I am going home this weekend to babysit the little bro while my parents go out of town for a wedding so I will have plenty of time to update!!

You sure had better...I have been waiting FOREVER to hear your opinion on RR...hurry up, it isn't like you have a life or anything.

So after lunch at WPE, Belle and I walked around and then decided we still had time to kill before our ADR at Raglan Road. We decided to go explore a resort and took the first bus that came to the stop which ended up being to the GF! I had just stayed there last summer but Belle hadn't been since she was young so we had fun checking out the resort. We rode the monorail over to the Contemporary to explore and then waited for the bus to go back to DTD.

My friend from my internship was meeting up with us and arrived at the restaurant before we did. She decided to join us last minute but it was no problem changing the reservation when she arrived. We were seated right on time and were taken to a table in the far back corner. The Irish dancer was performing and the band was playing so it got pretty loud in there - but it was fun! We were too far away from the action to see it, though. Maybe next time!

Anyways, my friend and I ordered the same exact things. Had a glass of the New Harbor Sauvignon Blanc because it had guava flavors in it - my favorite!! It was awesome. We both also ordered the Tomato & Gin Soup. OMG THIS WAS AWESOME!!!

We then both had the Goat's Town which isn't really a main course but since we had the soup already it was very filling. This was delicious as well. It was goat cheese with nuts and berries and some other stuff. DELISH!! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! In fact, I am craving it right now and could probably eat it everyday!!

Belle got what I thought she said was the Shepherd's Pie? Not sure, but she really liked it.

They didn't want dessert but, um, I read the DIS so I knew better. I had to order the bread pudding! I was excited because I am a HUGE fan of the Ohana dessert so I was anxious to try this! I have to admit, the raisins kind of turned me off, but it was still really good. It's alot different than the Ohana pudding but in a good way (I still like the banana Ohana dessert better...) but the caramel or butterscotch sauce on this was soooo tasty!!!

~Overall, we all LOVED Raglan Road! I'm so glad I listened to Skellingtonfreak's suggestion and went here!! I will definitely go back and I CANNOT WAIT to return!!!

Hahaha, yeah and unfortunately it's a life that doesn't leave much time for the DIS these days!!! Seriously, don't my professors know I have a dining review AND a trip report to write?!

WOW that all looks really good.

I hear you about the raisins, ugh that would turn me off too.

Thanks! I think professors have no life...hence why I never went that route in college...even though I tried.

Have you ever tried Boma for dinner? That is where I fell in love with bread pudding. I hadn't touched the stuff since I was little because of texture issues...but their banana bread pudding was amazing!!!!

And I am so glad you liked RR...I want to go back but J said no...:sad2: Silly picky eaters...

Ehhhh I wonder if they can make it without the raisins? That would be awesome LOL! You should still try it though!

WHAT?!!? Ohhhh man. I would make her go back! LOL!! And I did Boma for dinner a few years ago but I don't think I tried the bread pudding - maybe next time if they still have it.

Great pictures! I really want to try that bread pudding at Raglan Road. I don't care for raisins, but if it tastes as good as it looks I wouldn't mind picking them out!:)

Great reviews!! I can't wait to try WGP's next month!!!

You will love it! The menu was huge - something for everyone!

Haha, that is what I did!

Great update of one of our favorite places! LOVE that bread pudding...

Thanks! I think the sauces is what makes that pudding so tasty!

Met up with some internship friends and had some drinks. I ordered the ESPY, which was made with Vodka and pineapple juice and was this yellow drink. My friend ordered the Pom-arita (or something!) which was a pomegranate margarita. I tried her drink and liked it better than mine, and she liked mine better than hers so we switched. I'm just not really a vodka girl unless it's Tito's or I can't taste it in a mixed drink. Here are the pictures:

Pretty good, pretty expensive also. I had more fun drinking around the World Showcase!

I agree, nothing compares to drinking around the World Showcase!:thumbsup2

Especially when you stop at Rose & Crown and fall head over heels for the cute bartender! (Who probably wasn't even actually cute considering the UK was our last stop on our drinks around the World Showcase journey)! :lmao:

Great food report. Your pictures are really clear. May I ask what kind of camera you used?

Thank you! I love the camera - I just bought it before my trip because I *thought* I lost my other one (only to find it later). It's a Canon Powershot SD790. It's a great camera but after using it for only about a month sometimes it doesn't work...I took it back and they told me they can't fix something that happens intermittently (and they wouldn't let me return it, either!).

So I was able to snag a last minute (and by last minute I mean like, a week before our trip!) Crystal Palace breakfast ressie for 9:30AM. I kept reading about the breakfast here and although I'm not a big buffet person I still really wanted to try it. So Belle and I decided to "sleep in" (basically sleeping like, an hour longer than normal when I am in commando Disney tourist mode) and then go to MK. It was EMH until 3AM that night so we felt we wouldn't be missing too much by getting there late.

So we get to MK and there is a line to check in outside. We get in line and we're standing there while the people in front of us were having some problems finding their ADR. Belle turns to me and goes, "Oh my god - doesn't that guy look EXACTLY like Joey Fatone?" So I look at the man in question and tried SO HARD not to scream, "Um, that IS JOEY FATONE!!!!" I grabbed her and was like mumbling about how much I loved NSYNC and how my entire middle school career was spent praying to God that he would make Justin Timberlake fall in love with me and how I didn't even really like Joey but he was still really cool and in NSYNC with Justin, etc.

We realized no one was approaching him and I wanted to SO BAD, but I knew if I started it then everyone would bother him. He was with his family and I just didn't want to be the person to intrude on his vacation! When we finally were seated, we asked our waiter about celebrities and he says he sees a ton of them in there but that Joey lives in Florida and comes in a lot. SO cool! Anyways, here is a picture that Belle creepily took from across the way while we were waiting...super zoom, LOL!

Here's me with Piglet!

3495513708_09fffd45ef.jpg

Our server was Kyle and he was GREAT. I know buffet servers don't really interact as much as a "normal" server, but he was the best. He brought out everything right away, explained the buffet, took some time to chat with us about the celebrities that come in and to talk basketball. He cleared our plates right away and made great suggestions. We loved him!

Here is my first plate:

As you can see, I decided on a very healthy selection of puffed french toast, a croissant, a biscuit, donut holes, a large helping of potatoes, and underneath it all - a few strawberries and grapes. Everything was amazing! I filled up fast but still went up for a second plate. Belle's first plate of fruit and eggs apparently filled her up enough not to make another trip up to the buffet. No wonder she is the skinny one!

Here's my second plate:

3494694813_718dce3118.jpg

I scarfed down the Mickey waffle and banana while Belle sipped on coffee and water. The quinoa was OK - it was already sweetened and had raisins in it so I wasn't as fond of it as I was of it at Boma. The eggs were good but I was having some texture problems after I thought I saw meat in there!

~Overall, we had a great experience at Crystal Palace. Not just because one of my childhood idols was there, but the food and our server Kyle made it an awesome time. I can't wait to go back someday, hopefully before the park opens!

I agree, Plum Wine is too sweet. So, we learned from a friend to order both plum wine and sake then combine the 2. Now that is good!!! Watch out though because this is a stout drink ;-)
