Liliandomsmom... oohh be sure to take your babies to see santa. We took all three of our grandchildren last year for christmas.. they were twin 4 year olds and a 6 year old.. we made sure we rested.

When traveling with little kids like that.. i buy premade toddler meals from target..and pack them. they keep tummies from getting upset.

We will be finalizing our dates this weekend (hopefully Nov 28 - Dec 5).

Anybody interested in putting together some sort of "meet" during early December?




I'll be happy to put on my thinking cap and come up with some ideas this weekend. Anybody else create any ideas for fun meets at DL.


I would choose something mid-week.

Want to do something like a TOUR together? I have done Walk in Walt's Footsteps before and would be happy to do it again if anyone is interested.


Ok, that wasnt such a bad idea and I didn't even put my thinking cap on. We can put our heads together and do something cool. What do you think?

pixelyyy... which takes the longest to get to? Which park is best suited for Your family? which one do you really want to go to?

I'm REALLY torn. WDW is way farther away (we're in Oregon, so it's literally the other side of the county), but there are lots of pros to going there. And this is probably our last Disney family vacation, since we're planning Washington DC in a few years and don't know if we'll have time for another trip before our oldest is out of the house. So it's a big decision. Ugh, I hate the big decisions. I did a whole posting about it on my pre-trip report (the link is in my siggy). Here's the link to just that posting. Any input would be appreciated.

Okay so I am trying to convince my cousins to change our dates. My one cousin insists her kids can't miss even one day of school so we need to go during Xmas break. Well I am trying to convince them that 12/18-12/23 would be better dates than over New Year's. One it is cheaper and two we are going with toddlers who whould actually like to ride the rides and as many as possible. I think we would just have better luck before Xmas than after. We're going to be there Dec. 12-14, either staying at HoJo or Jolly Roger (hoping for HoJo), and visiting the park on Dec. 12 & 13th. We're doing the Holiday Tour, especially after hearing what a treat it is for kids. Which holiday themed rides do you go on -- It's A Small World & Haunted Mansion?

This will be the baby's first Disneyland trip (she'll be one at that point) and my first time taking a baby/young toddler there. The rest of us have been there at least 2 or 3 times before, but we're not veterans yet by any means!

Just got the OK for a mini Christmas trip in December. DH and DS11 don't want to go, but my DS5 does. I just booked Desert Inn across the street for $69. I like that hotel especially in December because of the indoor pool. My friends son's birthday will be Dec 15th and my sons bday is the 19th and mine the 27th. Kind of an unofficial birthday trip. My DH says it beats being a drug addict. Whatever

We just scored the kids suite at Hojo's for the ENT rate of $99...... for our holiday trip!
We plan on driving from Oregon. We split the driving into 2 days, this makes the trip much nicer especially traveling with DH, DD14, DD11, DN9 (First time to DLR), and DGrandma...
We have also decided to do the holiday tour.....
I'm having so much fun planning all of the little extras to make this trip special...
