I was just like you. Should we spring for EMM? Seems expensive. Is it worth it???? Yes, it is. Just did it 2 days ago and it was worth every penny. That is, if your family loves 7DMT and wants to ride it MULTIPLE times like you never could on any other day. Some details...we arrived in the parking lot at 7:05. We took the monorail over, yes it was open at 7:10. We thought maybe it wouldn't be and we'd have to take the ferry. But it was. We were through security, etc... and standing in line by 7:30 at the latest, probably earlier. They let us in at 7:40 so we were on our first 7DMT ride at 7:45. Got good pics quickly in front of the castle on our way. We rode 7DMT 10 times in an hour!!!! Then over to Peter Pan and then Pooh each once before 9 am. As we were leaving 7DMT at 8:45, they were just walking in the PPO crowd. They held the line outside the ride until then, then walked them in. We then did 4 more Fantasyland rides with no waits until about 9:30-9:45 when we went to breakfast. It was very good! I would highly recommend this experience if you want to ride 7DMT over and over! A great experience all around. Seems like a lot of people at the front gates, but there are at least half of them mixed in that are PPO dining so it's really not many people at all. You will see that once you get back to Fantasyland. I started to worry at the front gates that it was going to be crowded, but it wasnt!!! Best money ever spent at WDW for my family!!!!

Glad to see another awesome review. We are really hoping they still offer this next year, but I wonder if they would have it during a holiday week.

Oh, this makes me so happy! We're booked for our trip at the end of January...was a little apprehensive about the cost but I'm getting more and more excited! Thanks for sharing!

Happy to hear you enjoyed it! My DD and I went last month and would totally do it again. In our first 7DMT ride photo of the morning, we are the only people in the photo - this might sound silly, but that alone contributed to the value of the event for us. It's one of my favorite photos of us. I'm hoping they extend the DHS EMM so that we can try that one out on our next trip.

Thanks for the review! We are doing this on 2/28 in MK. I am hoping they will offer EMM @ DHS during that week, but not looking like it. We are excited at all the positive reports about EMM @ MK!

Great review...thanks! Sadly, in spite of the anticipation for this ride, I don't see getting much out of riding it more than maybe three or four times in a row. I mean, it's an okay ride, but isn't technically amazing enough to wow me over and over, not thrilling enough to make me want to hope back on, and not even long enough to justify all the effort. Just my two cents. But we did get some GREAT ride photos from it.

WE loved it! My kids 5 & 7, favorite rides ended up being 7DMT, Pooh and Peter Pan. We rode 7DMT over and over and compared our favorite seats: front row, middle and back seat. Back seat won! So cool to be the only people on the ride in our pics.! Speaking of pics., we got excellent ones in front of the castle, on the carousel and pulling the sword from the stone with no one around. So worth it for our first and probably only trip.

Thanks for sharing your great review on Early Morning Magic with us! Your thread was picked to be featured on the DIS Daily Fix! :flower1:

Just a word of caution - it sounds like your experience was terrific. Ours, not so much. We made it all the way to the back of the park before they let us in on a little news - 7DMT, Peter Pan, and Pooh were all down. To buffer the pain - they opened IASW which we had zero interest in. They provided us a FP+ to ride 7DMT once it came back up which was unlimited until noon that day (the ride ultimately opened just before the park opened), but we had already made plans for the morning, assuming 7DMT would be behind us. WE moved on and made the best of it, but we won't ever role the dice on EMM again. Glad it worked out for you and I hope it works out for everybody else!

That's when you go straight to Guest Services and tell them you'd like your money back.

I really hope you got a refund on that. It sounds like there were some really extraordinary circumstances there. When was this?

It sounds like your experience was identical to ours, right down to the early monorail ride, which I was not expecting, but thrilled to have had. We also rode 7DMT 10 times, although I split it up with PP and Pooh in the middle for the sake of my stomach. ITA with you and thought it was well worth the expense and will definitely do it again if it's still being offered in August when we go back.

Our experience was identical to yours as well. My DS5 absolutely loved being able to decide where we sat and riding over and over. Just like you, we were also able to do everything else we wanted in Fantasy land with little to no wait once the park opened. I would absolutely do it again.

Thanks for sharing! I am booked for this in January and now I cannot wait!
Not sure I would spend the money for it in January. Crowds are low and we've experienced "walk right on" lines after Rope drop until mid morning.
If the park has EMH in the morning, it's "ghostly" quiet in January.

Late to this thread but I 1000% agree on EMM. I'm a sucker for the upcharge events but this is hands down the best money I have spent at Disney for our family. We've done it twice now and will do it every trip if possible.

Our first EMM 7DMT was down when we arrived but unlike a PP it actually worked out very well for us. As soon as we arrived in Fantasyland numerous CMs were around to explain the situation. They said we could use our wristband to use the FP line at 7DMT any time until noon. It ended up opening around 8:30 so we got a few rides in plus rode multiple times throughout the morning through noon. It was GREAT!

Really? Walk-on for 7DMT until mid morning????? Maybe I need to go in January...
