Most definitely not me...but it would make for a cool story!! My HS boyfriend found me via the internet after 10 years! We e-mailed and chatted for about a year and a half before realizing we were still head over heels for each other! We finally got back together in 2001 and married in 2002...

Here's my reason for starting this: how many of you are surrounded on a daily basis by people who just don't "get" the DIS? Spouse, significant other, family - they can't understand why you spend so much time here and consider people you have never met friends? Well, I got to wondering if I knew anyone who would actually "get" the DIS and Michelle was the only one I could think of because she had been to WDW so many times. So, naturally, I wonder if she is here somewhere. It isn't so much about her being an old girlfriend as some of you may wish to think. I'd be wondering the same if she were just an old friend, male or female.

OK, from what I could read when I hovered over this thread my heart dropped in my stomach. Alas, you're not Jim from Florida though.

Okay, I know there are now nearly 100,000 DISers, but here's the story...

In 1987, I started dating a girl from HS who went to WDW every summer at least once. In August of 1988, her parents were nice enough to allow me to come along. It was my first trip to WDW. She was a real Disney fanatic, with good reason, so I have to assume that she still is and has found the DIS. Every time I pop in, I wonder if one of the posts I'm reading was written by her and I just can't tell by her screen name.

What are the odds that amongst 100,000 users, I'll actually "bump into" her?

BTW, I am not carrying a torch or anything; I'm just curious. So...is your name Michelle? Did you go to high school and college in NJ in the 80s? Why are you running away screaming?

Is that the name you are planning to go by in Vegas? So its not important if I believe you so long as whomever you meet there believes you.
