Are you happy with DVC???

Fran and Jack have until 4/17/04 to buy 200 points at SSR. Convince ME!! I feel somewhat comfortable with this purchase because I can pass it onto my son, but do any of you wish that you would not have done it???

because if you don't do it now, you will be singing a sad song a few years from now that goes something like:

"we wish we had bought DVC when we first checked into it." There is a large percentage of those on this Board that sing that little tune, including me.

How about this -- why are you buying at SSR? Is it because you love everything about the resort, or because you didn't realize you could buy into other resorts through resale? It might be easier to convince you if we knew the reasons why you picked SSR. Come on, throw us a bone!

OK, I have a bit more of the story based on a PM, so here's what I'll say!!!

You mentioned the cost was 17.8K, how many points is that for & do you need all of those points? Have you calculated out what you thought you would use?

Also, someone asked, is SSR the resort you absolutely best? If not, you could look at the resale market & perhaps pay less...

What are your usual vacation habits? Do you go to Disney every year staying in a deluxe? If so, this is right up your alley!
