I'm a little concerned that we won't know how to communicate with eachother without our trusty little smileys!

I'm thinking about making some LOL signs and such....what do you think??? I'll raise it above my head when I find something funny....and I'll wave it in the air, above my head when I find something REALLY funny.

I think that we all will do just fine. I went to my first DIS meet in Atlanta and I had never met anyone and we laughed and talked for hours.

The thing that I realized the other day is everyone will be looking for this really Hillbilly looking old lady for me. My picture on my signature is of me with my oldest DD, my 12 yr DS and myself when we were in the High School's production of Lil Abner. All three of us were Scraggs family and the dirty side of the family. I haven't removed it yet cause I don't have another one to post.

So although I'm still an old lady, I do dress a little better with less make up

I'll have my kids with me......

They're signed up for the events and of course I'll have them for most (if not ALL) of my sit-down meals.....BUT......I'm hoping DH will take them on rides and/or swimming when they start to get 'bored' with the 'grown-up' stuff.

I'm a solo attendee. DH can't leave the store, 2 boys are still in college and the other son is working. So, I'm on my own. But, not really alone because I'll have all of you to keep me company.

Tia how old are your kids? ...... It's ok Tia I went and looked in the who the heck are you thread. I have a DD who is 7 (will be 7 1/2 by DIScon) and a DS who is 5 and a DD who will be 2...maybe our kids can help entertain each other!

Bash....I think that sounds like a fabulous idea! It's funny because while I'm making these plans I'm trying to keep my DC (dear children ) in mind.....but quite honesty I think they're going to 'tuckered out'

after the first day!!!

I keep reminding DH that he will have to be in 'Nanny mode' so I can enjoy my fellow DIS'ers without tagging the little ones along....and he's so sweet because he just says "I know"

I really do hope a lot of our DC get together and play!!!
