Are you from N. Adams, Ma., I need cheap but clean place to do overnight (MCLA)?

My son just accepted a fall admission to MCLA! Yay, the decision is made, finally. Anyway, his orientation falls on a Monday and Tuesday, doing an overnight and my husband will be taking him. Since we're 3 hours away, he'd like a place to spend the night. This just so happens to fall on the very night we were all supposed to leave for DW, so I'll be taking my other two sons with me there. I'd appreciate any help, the Holiday Inn in N. Adams is 99.00 a night then, kind of pricey for one night. Any suggestions?

Hey, I just wanted to say I spent my first semester at North Adams State! It's a small world!

We were just out that way a few weekends ago. In North Adams, the Holiday Inn is probably the least expensive available. My suggestion is to look at Williamstown. It's about 5 minutes away and they have many smaller motels in the $50 to $60 range. Here are a few that I pulled out of my Berkshire vacation guide:

Cozy Corner Motel
Maple Terrace Motel
Northside Motel
Villager Motel
1896 House Inn
