Are you eligible to stay at Shades of Green but stay elsewhere?

We've stayed at SoG twice - very very nice but I didn't like having to take two modes of transportation to MK and Epcot. Especially after staying at the Swan where you can travel by boat or walk to Epcot or MGM. True, you cannot beat the price!

we usually split our stay between SoG (or the Contemporary) and the Dolphin--that way we get the best of both worlds :) we love both!

We stay at SOG if we can get a reservation. But elsewhere if we can't. Thsi works out to be about half the trips at SOG and the other times we've stayed at other resorts. Its the best of both worlds.

We always stay elsewhere, usually the Polynesian. My husband wants to be on vacation away from the military.

Back in my SOG eligible days we stayed at SOG once, but almost always opted for an overflow reservation at one of the other Disney resorts. We prefer the location and theming of the Disney resorts and the Swan/Dolphin - and the overflow rates are a great value (although not as good as SOG itself).

We have never stayed nor wanted to stay at SOG. Even though DH is just a reservist now, he does not care to vacation with the military-would seem like he was at work or something :p ! We did enjoy CR via SOG earlier this month and take overflow to the various resorts in the past. We love trying different WDW resorts.:D
