LOL. If so, you are one of a dying breed.

Was watching a show tonight and the premise of the story was that the gene that makes you blonde is slowly disappearing. The story goes on to say that REAL BLONDES will be extinct by 2203.

What will we do for jokes? ;) :lmao:

We will have to use brunette jokes next.

Yes, I'm a blonde.

I was smiling and laughing till I got to that part! That's gonna make life hard! :rotfl:

I was born blond & was platnum blond until about 5 does that count?

As long as there is peroxide there will be blondes... now as to how many of them will ADMIT to being TRUE blondes or not is another story! :teeth:

I am a DRITY blonde ( it almost looks brown if I let it go!)

Yes.
But not near as much as when I was younger. Highlighting helps me stay that way :earboy2:

A similar study says that blue eyes will also be extinct in about 200 years.

Guess I am a dying breed!!

Yes, that was part of the same story.

Same here.

So I use the excuse well I was born a blond, and I get away with it. :teeth:

My cousin has platinum blonde hair--she was born that way and it never darkened. Which is pretty weird because her mom's hair is just as dark as mine. :teeth: Outsiders always thought my cousin was a visiting friend and not part of the family since she's the only blonde in the bunch!

Red will just have to be the new blonde, then I guess! :thumbsup2

Nope...red is the same gene as blonde (just a variant). When blonde goes, so does red.

We just moved from AZ to TX. We went from "Mormonville" to "the land of southern belles". My dh was blonde as a child, and I am still blonde. But, our dd....well, she has dark brown hair. It's very strange. My dsis and her husband BOTH have brown hair and brown eyes, and their son is blonde and blue :confused3 .

Anyway...I digress. I used to notice that, in AZ, our dd was one of the only brunettes in class...it was my dd and all the cute blonde/blue Mormon kids. Now that we have moved to TX...I noticed that out of nine kids in my dd's dance class...she is the ONLY brunette!! They're 4, so I doubt there is any peroxide going on.

You wouldn't notice a shortage of blondes around here!!!

Both me and my DW are natural blondes. I have green eyes, she has hazel eyes.

Both my boys have darker hair - one has deep blue eyes, the other brown.
My daughter has blonde hair and brown eyes.

We sure are a weird mixture.....
