My county has Ordered all residents to wear face coverings when out in public
This is such a good question. I would like to wear a mask, but do not have any.
I could try to make my own but I would want to throw them out after each wear, so I doubt I could make enough with the limited materials I have at home.
I did read that you can also make them from paper towels. I wish I'd kept that link. This is such a good question. I would like to wear a mask, but do not have any.

Does this concern anyone else, can’t believe it has come to this.

Not that its the wrong material. It is letting your air exscape upward into you glasses. So this is part of what I was saying earlier. Even with the proper masks people outside the medical field do not wear them the proper way. When I do my shopping i see these people with N95 masks and they are not formfitted have gaps and defeat the whole purpose.A friend made a couple of cloth masks for me and dropped them off, but I find when wearing them it makes my glasses fog up with my breath. So if I wore it out, I know I'd be contantly touching it to pull it down a bit or touching my glasses and moving them around. Is it that the material isn't the proper kind maybe?
So just to jump in and hopefully not jumped on. What was said and how it was said. The non medical masks will protect others from you. But will NOT protect you from you.
I deal with this at work and with coworkers.
The problem with wearing masks is 2 things. 1 you end up touching your face more than with out. You dont even realize it.
2 it gives people a false sense of security. It is shown that people dont keep a safe distance when they have these on.
The best thing is self distancing..
Please stay safe.

We need to better educate our selves on what is needed and how to wear them.
I know its scary out there and so much info each way. Its hard to know what way is up. Wash your hands. Social distance. And only go to the store if needed. I am now shopping about every 10 days. Eating and clearing out pantry and freezer.
Stay safe all.
