Are we there yet? Can we eat yet? YES to both!

Great update!
how sweet of Chris to have your lanyard done up for you!!! and I love the "ears" Jacob choose...I have never ridden ToT but in 2001 me, DS, my BF and her son all did the walk through and took the chicken exit.

The food looks very yummy we have never eaten at DHS...but, my parents are the Fairfax chicken and ribs in April (my DAD ate BBQ or rot chicken the entire trip) he said that was the best with AK Flametree running a close second.

It really was cute, my lanyard is light pink and he had the letters done in purple!

I rode ToT that one time in 2008, and I just don't care for the flying stomach feeling! Chris was bummed that he didnt get to try Flame Tree, but I told him all the more reason to plan our next trip! :thumbsup2

Awww that was really sweet of Chris to have a lanyard made with your name on it.

Ya'll were able to do quite a few things in just a short period of time. I am not a roller coaster kind of gal but I love Rock n' Rollercoaster. I guess I can handle it because it's in the dark and I can't see what's going to happen next.

Your lunches looked yummy especially that cupcake.

I got behind on you ptr and I know I'm a little late, but I'm here.

Our gps took us through the back entrance too! We got to see the distribution warehouses, what fun. :headache:

I'm really enjoying your report so far and you're making me sooooo hungry.

Subscribing. Can't wait to read all about it.

I'm sure he gets this a lot, but your stepson looks like Daniel Radcliffe (actow who plays Harry Potter). I saw his picture and for a second, I had to look again! Dead ringer!

Awww how sweet that he got your lanyard embroidered

The food at Starring Rolls looks amazing, especially that cupcake.

Can't wait to hear more:goodvibes

Is It completely dark in RnRc? I didn't know that!

Welcome! I didn't even notice the warehouses, cuz I was still looking for that danged magical gate.

It's funny you say that. The first time I met him, I told Chris, your kid looks just like Harry Potter! :lmao: He told me that Jacob used to have the little glasses, but quit wearing them bc of all the HP comments. Poor kid. :rotfl:

Yeah, he's a great hubby!

I meant to mention that Deshea's nuggets didn't LOOK impressive, but boy were they good! They weren't the chopped meat kind either.

I should have named this TR "Ode to the Cupcake", huh?? ;)

subscribing! Love your report so far!!

Yay! For another reader! Welcome!

Just about. You can see some a little of the tracks at some times and the signs that are lit up with a black light. I am terrified of heights and I can ride Rock 'n Rollercoaster with no problems at all.

Great update.
Too bad the pool in the spa was closed. That would have been such a cool way to start your day.

I love the Muppet show too. No matter what, it does not get outdated in my opinion.

Didn't you just love the food at Starring Rools? I had the cupcake on my last trip and could not understand people saying it is too big. I could not get enough of it. Haha!

Can't wait to read more.

Amen about the Muppets! High Five!

I did love that sandwich. I couldn't finish it!

I am finally here and caught up! That peanut butter cupcake looks YUMMY! We tried the Butterfinger one a year ago and it was deeeeeeeeeeeeeelish. I'm gonna have to try that peanut butter one next! :thumbsup2

The pic of Jacob with the pink fuzzy bobber ear things made me laugh out loud!

Do you have a pic of your lanyard? It sounds really cute!

Hi!! Glad to have you here!

I tried to get him to buy the pink bobber :lmao:but he wouldnt...

I never did take a pic of my lanyard, I need to tho, so y'all can see the cute pin I got this year! I'll work on that tonite!

Apparently, this is where my memory gets fuzzy, and I have to depend on my notes!

We decided to go back to Magic Kingdom, and then take the monorail to the Poly for dinner. I wanted to freshen up first, so Chris and I headed back to the room for a few minutes, while the kids caught a bus to MK. While we were waiting at the bus stop to go meet them, Jacob called and said that MK was ridiculously packed! New plan – they would head out to Epcot, and we’d meet them there. So we grabbed an Epcot bus instead!

I took a few quick pics when we got there.

Up first was the Seas with Nemo and Friends.

I had never done this, as it was being worked on during our last trip. I have to say none of us really enjoyed it, and I doubt I’ll need to ever do it again. I did however, LOVE the animatronic seagulls outside! These guys are so cute.

Next we headed over to the LAND, to see what the wait times for Soarin’ were. I didn't get my hopes up, as it was already later in the day. I was right – 75 minutes. We decided to skip that and headed over to Test Track. Now, I had never done this, it was also broken on our last trip. I was really excited for it, until I saw the car zoom by over head, filled with screaming riders! :scared1:

I really wanted to try it though, and I’m glad I did! I ended up LOVING it and did it twice more over the course of the trip! :thumbsup2

A few photos after the ride….

When we came outside after this one, it had suddenly turned windy and cold, so another trip to the room was in order, to get our jackets, and so Deshea could put pants on. The plan was she and I would go back and change, and the boys ride the monorail BACK to MK, and meet us at the boat launch for the Poly..

Up next: Ohana dinner…. Did it live up to the hype, or the bad reviews?

Y'all really get around! You're everywhere on this trip. Glad you did Test Track, we love that ride.

I hope 'Ohana's was okay. In the past we have loved it but on this last trip we were a little disappointed.:sad2:

Just got caught up! Great trip report so far!! Can't wait to read more!

I agree about RNR - it's fast, but dark. I don't like tall rollercoasters because of the height factor, but I love RNR because it's just the "rush" without the fear. Honestly, I don't even feel the upside-down part just because it's so fast.

Thank the lord for Park Hoppers, right??!! I'm working on my Ohana review right now, stay tuned!

Maybe next year, I could try it.. Maybe..:lmao: Thanks for reading!

You sound like me the first time I rode Test track...in 2001 we were standing outside under the ramp and I was like NO WAY! and each time I rode it, it was broken so the ride outside was sooooooo slow!!! Last year was the first time I was able to ride it at full speed...I can't believe I have the need to hold on but I love it! Ashton on the other hand was not so sure...

I love how you guys are making the best of all the transportation (at least J & D) we do things like that on purpose!

can't wait to hear what you guys thought of Ohana's, I want to try their breakfast next go round

great picture of you with the kids!!
:wave2: Connie

That's awesome that you ended up liking Test Track after all, and great pics with the vehicles afterwards.

I hope you guys enjoyed Ohanas...that's one of my faves on the entire property:goodvibes

Can't wait to read your Ohana review! We are doing the DDP for the first time and Ohana is our "welcome" meal on our first night. I'm sure anything will taste good when we're riding the first-day-at-disney-high! :)
