Does anyone know? Also, is there anywhere on this website that gives very detailed reports on exactly how the day goes?

Hi - we did this last January and had a great time. You can not only wear water shoes in the park, they sell them there as well. We spent the entire day from opening to closing there.

Our day went like this:

Got to park when it opened and got our picture ids and complimentary picture.

Went and got our vests and snorkel gear and went to scope out the place since we had an early dolphin swim.

Did the dolphin swim and then hung out in the lounge chairs on the beach.

Ate the complimentary lunch, which was very good.

Spent the rest of the day swimming with the rays, and swimming in the tropical river to the bird sanctuary.

We then took showers and turned in our vests and left the park at closing.

Water shoes are allowed and I would highly reccomend them especially for kids. It is a very tropical area and the ground are not paved.

I would totally agree with the previous post, we took our own water shoes in with us, and we are certainly glad that we did, as in August the concrete areas got hot under foot, we also had a heavy storm during the day and some areas got a little slippery, you will have a great day, we are certainly hoping to go back on our next visit $$$ allowing, lets hope for a good exchange rate
