A variation on this would be Alton Brown's White Trash. The recipe makes a LOT, simple ingredients. I send this for Christmas each year, plus I would bring it to dance recitals (for backstage). Believe me, if I showed up without it, I would have been banned--and I was one of three seamstresses! I make it with Cinnamon Chex instead of the two types of plain Chex he calls for. You could change up the M&M colors seasonally. It does contain nuts.

I'd be a regular customer for banana bread, maybe a few types of muffins, and DEFINITELY for a rustic Italian bread.

I think any type of bread goes over well. I've also seen people make their own granola and that also does well. Maybe jellies, jams, or apple butter if she knows how to make any of those. Good luck to your daughter. I wish there were little farm stands in my area. We just have the farmer's markets on the weekends but those are still fun.
