Am making my ADR's first thing Sunday morning and want to make sure I chose the right places. This is a solo trip, on the dining plan and I'm a picky eater. What do you think of these? Good, bad, avoid at all costs????

Fountainview Cafe (Lunch) -- Never Been Before
Rose & Crown (CP Dinner)
Sassagoula Floatworks (POFQ) (Lunch) -- Have not been in long time
Crystal Palace (Dinner)
Boulangerie Patisserie (Lunch)
Columbia Harbour House (Dinner) -- Never Been Before
Tusker House (Lunch)
50's Primetime Cafe (Dinner)
Boardwalk Bakery (Lunch) -- Never Been Before
Le Cellier (Dinner)
Liberty Tree Tavern (Lunch) -- Have not been in long time
Casey's Corner (Lunch)
Concourse Steakhouse (Dinner)
Sommerfest Counter (Lunch) -- Never Been Before
Cape May Cafe (Dinner) -- Never Been Before
Coral Reef (Lunch) -- Have not been in long time
1900 Park Fare (Dinner)
Crystal Palace (Breakfast) -- This is my last day, so I thought it would be good to get in the park early, have a big breakfast, before wandering around the Magic Kingdom for a little while before heading back to POFQ to go to the airport to go home.

Board Walk Bakery is good, but nothing special. They have sandwiches that you take away and eat at a table outside. Very good
deserts, though.

We love the Cape May Cafe. Ditto Crystal Palace for Breakfast. The Breakfast Lasagna sounds disgusting, I know, but it's delicious! Pancakes, cream and fruit, layered deliciously together.

1900 Park Fare is, for us, the best character buffet in The World, whether you go for b'fast or dinner. You just can't go wrong.

Suggestion: have you ever tried Flying Fish? It's a good place to dine solo, because they have counters where you can sit and watch them prepare the food. And it's really good.

all excellent with the exception of LTT

Looks good except I think you are missing a dinner...

You list:
LTT - lunch
Casey's - lunch
Concourse - dinner

Or are you trying to choose netween the 2? Can't help you on those, I haven't eaten at either. Hope you have better luck than I did getting an ADR for Le Cellier...8:30PM for us!

Terk, you're from MA likeme, I wouldn't do Cape May Buffet, the seafood is not like going around here.....I went there, never again, it was GROSS. OK now that am on a roll I hated 50s Prime Time Cafe......I liked the rest of them Have a FUNtastic trip :cool1:

That looks great!

If it were me though, there'd be a lot more trips to the Summerfest Counter lunch. We LLOOOVVVEEEE the brats with an ice cold beer! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Enjoy!

Is LTT not a good place to dine?

Am doing the Magic Kingdom that morning and Animal Kingdom that night, so I may just grab a CS dinner either at my resort or somewhere at AK.

If it were me though, there'd be a lot more trips to the Summerfest Counter lunch.
Never been there before and thought it would be a nice place to try. What is bratwurst anyway?

We just got back from the world, and out of your choices we ate at Crystal Palace (dinner), Tusker House, Le Cellier (dinner) and Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch). We were pleased with all of them. At Liberty Tree Tavern, I had the crab cake appetizer, pot roast entree and berry shortcake for dessert. It was all really yummy. There's no characters at lunch, so it's a cool, quiet break from the bustle of the park.

That's what I was thinking. Where I'm dining solo, I just thought it would be a waste of food to do dinner there.

Brats are a German hotdog. I usually boil mine in beer for a few minutes then pan fry or grill. So good with a crusty roll (brotchen). YUM!
If you like sausage or hotdogs, brats are THE way to go IMO.
Enjoy!

We hated the Concourse Steakhouse. If you have small children it is next to Chef Mickey's & it will drive small children crazy. There is no wall separating it.

I do enjoy both.

Thanks everyone for your opinions.

I got an ADR for 6:40pm. I thought this way I can see the tree lighting at 6pm, then have plenty of time to get to the restaurant. After, I can wander around World Showcase and get a great place to view Illuminations.

Here's the counterpoint ;) :

If you DON'T have small kids, it's great. DH and I went there alone and we loved it. The food was very good, the service excellent and I loved the secluded, yet out-in-the-open feel of the place.

And they have this one mixed drink - a sunrise something or other - OMG - the best mixed drink I've ever had anywhere. :thumbsup2

This is a solo trip, so I don't have to worry about that. Will have to look for that drink you mentioned. Thanks!!
