Are there other DVC boards of note that people use?

There are some out there, but none of them come anywhere close to the posting activity you'll find here on the DISboards.

If you want to check some out, just do a Google search for 'DVC discussion boards' and you'll get some links. Although I think you'll be disappointed in the lack of actual DVC discussion.

For example, I just looked at what's probably the #2 DVC discussion board and they had a total of 16 threads which had a new post or a reply to a post, for the entire month of March so far.

The DIS board so far for March has over 8 pages of DVC threads. That's over 400 threads.

Another site combines DVC with their general Resorts, Restaurants and Cruises, all in one board, not a separate DVC board.

There is another message board alot like this one with a DVC forum that I go on -- I bounce back and forth between the 2 It's not nearly as busy on that one though as it is here on the Dis.

My second favorite site is Intercot. It is almost the same as the Dis, but like others have said, not nearly as many posts. I do love it, but if you need instant answers and many different opinions very quickly, the Dis is the place to be. You really can't beat it. But to my Intercot friends, I still love you guys!

I was part of the Yahoo DVC group for a while but it was not very helpful fun or informative--so I dropped out.

This one is the most active out there. Hey, I even moderate one on another board now. I also did mod duties on a guide book DVC forum, but left over some restrictions they imposed.

Sort of like playing in the minor leagues compared to this one.
