Are there ever promotions (beyond the random private codes0 during spring break? rop

Historically, is there ever a gift card/resort discount/free dining/etc during March spring break or Peak Season time? There is no other time we can travel unfortunately, so we have to deal with the high rates. But, do we have any chance of getting any type of break lol?

This year, we did get the 30% off a moderate discount for Easter Week. I will add that it was very late in the game when Disney extended that discount for our week. Before that came out, I did have the $300 gift card for our Pop Century reservation, I was able to get that because we checked in on the very last day that promotion was going. However, when they extended the 20/30/40% discount for Easter Week, I upgraded to POR for less than my Pop with the gift card reservation.

So it did happen, but they waited until the very last minute to do it! So my advice is to book where you can afford the rack rate, then wait it out and see if discounts are available for your week. Who knows what they'll do in 2011.

we went over our spring break last year, 3rd week in March, and got Buy 4 nights get 3 nights free

I am so hoping for some kind of discount for April , especially since it is all peak prices
