Are there cheaper Non-Disney restaurants near Dolphin?

Staying at the Dolphin...wondering if there are cheaper places to eat in or near the Dolphin area because it's not managed by Disney?

No, even tho the Dolphin is not disney owned you are still on disney property.

You'd have to go offsite to find non disney restaurants. Many fine restaurants for all budgets near dt disney.

Not to mention that the Swan and Dolphin are convention resorts catering to business people with expense accounts!!

The nearest non-Disney restaurants are probably on routes 595 and 192. Most, if not all, of the restaurants are chain restaurants versus those locally owned and operated. Places like Golden Corral, Bob Evans, Denny's, Bennigans, Red Lobster, plus the fast food joints are located on these roads.

The restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin still offer a 20% discount to Disney Club members, making this one of the least expensive places to eat (nicely) on-site.

The Dolphin also has Tubby's Buffeteria, a cafeteria style restaurant that has decent food at relatively reasonable prices.

Also, the Dolphin Grill is a lower priced option.

If you have a car - there is a TGI Fridays and my perosnal favorite Jungle Jim's in the Crossroads Plaza at the end of hotel plaza across 535. It's probably a five or ten minute drive from the dolphin.
