Are there any good family tours available for families with young children?

I have read several reports of people that took tours like the Behind the Magic Tour.

Is there a tour that can be done with children?? We have been to WDW 3 times and would like to add something new to the experience. We thought a tour would be great, but wouldn't want to ruin the "Disney Magic" for our children (7 and 4). Any ideas?

Glad you asked this question!!!!

Though my daughter is a little older (9), interested in any answers to your questions, too. Looking for different things to do this year especially since we're going to do the silver plan this year which would cover tours and such.

Anyone with experience on these w/less than 16yr old kids?

yes, there is some sort of Scaenger Hunt tpe thing at the MK...Sorry I can't remember the name of it though.

As far as "true" behind the scenes tours for younger kids, they are not offered due to insurance regulations. There used to be one offered through the DI, but that ended probably 3-4 years ago. Regretfully they've ended a lot of the programs for kids, anyone remember "N.U.T.S."?

I think you are talking about the Disney Magic tour. This is a two hour tour in MK. It is lioke a scavenger hunt where you golooking for Capt. Hook Hook. We did this three weeks ago. It was fun however if you are a WDW regular you may not be as excited. However it is good for new comers on their firstor second day at MK The hunt has a fun ending. I would tend to think it is best fo rthe younger ones (4-8).
