I'm praying the A's pull off the upset of the year guys, The Yankees are gonna be tough.
Honorable son#1 is away at school, called last night and said him and some friends are going to drive down for the parade if the Phillies win.
Now, should I be a good mom and tell him to stay at school.......

The late nights have been rough, but the end results have been magical! The A's seem to be having a tough time handling the Yankees....although I wish they could somehow drag the series out to 7 games and tire them out......and a little jet lag doesn't hurt!

A WS win against the Yankees would be MAJOR!!!! Our guys are tough and persistent. We can do this!

First home game on Halloween. We're gonna show the game in our backyard on a sheet from a projector/ computer feed around the campfire. This outta be nutz! And if Hamels pitches it could be scary

I'm bummed that the Dodgers lost. I really wanted to see Torre kick some Yankees butt. But the Phillies did a great job so I've switched support and will cheer the Phillies on. Beat the yankees!!

Greetings from a Phillies fan who moved to NC 7 years ago! It sure was an incredible NLCS

In a way I am glad that we have a bit of a break before the opening of the World Series ... I am so exhausted from these late nights. I sort of feel like I used to when we were in commando mode at WDW ... late nights, early mornings

My dh is lucky. His father owns season tix on the first base side, 20 or so rows up. He'll be able to go to the 2nd home game with our 14 y/o son. Lucky ducks!
