Are there any bad seats to watch Fantasmic?

I was just wondering if all of the seats were good ones, or if there are some bad places to avoid... (Fantasmic has stadium style seating, right? It looked like it on the map I have...)

There are no really bad seats at Fantasmic although if you are unlucky to get seats midway between the water screens then the projected images are definitely unclear which may spoil your enjoyment. Unfortunately you can't really tell until the water screens (fountains) are erected during the show. It may be worth taking a Fantasmic Dinner Package which guarantees a good seat. There's a very good chance of course that your seats will be great anyway. Enjoy - the best show in Disney.

Thanks. I take it the water screens aren't always in the same place? Do you know if there is a certain section we should gear towards? (center, right, left, etc...)

We have sat all the way in the back on the far right side, and I felt it was just as good as any other. As a matter of fact if you have little ones who might be scared, this is a great place to be to make a quick exit if needed.

Try to get there early enough that you don't have to sit in the last section. Not bad for watching the show, but it takes quite awhile to get out of the show area. Last ones to sit down, and last ones out. Especially long if yolu have small children.

water screens are in the same place every time, and there is three of them. One facing dead center and two angled towards the sides. They're there mostly to buy some time in between scene changes, I've never expeirienced a time when the picture looked fuzzy but i also can't remember having bad seats.

If you don't want to get wet, stay around from the front rows. It's just mist, but you can really get drenched as the show goes on.

But on those hot summer nights I'd imagine this would be a nice thing.

Thanks everyone. I think we'll head for a seat that is in the upper center section, not too far towards the back. We'll take what we can get though, I don't want to get there more than 15-20 minutes early with our son.

They suggest you get there really early to make sure you get a seat. Even with the dinner package, it was a 30 - 45 minute suggestion. Of course, they are selling snacks and trinkets! I brought paperback books for my boys and they read to pass the time while we waited. I heard someone make a comment about not believing that someone was reading at Disney, but at least I wasn't spending a fortune trying to keep them entertained!

30-45 mintues early? Man, you lose so much time waiting for some things... We're going on a Monday (May 2nd) so hopefully a half hour will do- from what I've read here, it shouldn't be overly crowded, especially with the Happiest Celebration on Earth kicking off on May 5th...

Bah, while their kids are playing with their shoe laces, looking at cement, and begging their parents for every trinket the see, your kids were enriching their minds.

Not much else to do waiting for Fantasmic! - or any other show for that matter. I always have a book on me - you never know when the opportunity will arise.

I agree with the book idea, it is great, but I doubt my son will have the capacity to enjoy books for 45 minutes (we get about thirty seconds right now until he closes it and moves on ), since he won't even be two when we go. We will find other ways to entertain him as well, probably by one of us taking him to run around and spend some of his energy exploring, before having to stay seated and watch the show (which I'm sure he'll enjoy anyway).
