Are swimdresses for SWIMMING?

I bought one for our Disney Trip last year and did just that!!! I would wring it out as soon as I got on the last step of the pool. Plus always had a coverall laying close by to put on immediately.:goodvibes

Check out www.carolwior.com she has some good ones AND she actually has an undewired bra in them! I just wonder why they do not put support in these. If you are conscious enough to want to wear a swim dress WHY woudl you not want support in the bust?? Really if I had a body that did not require a swim dress then I would wear a two piece. But, sadly I DO so why would desingners think I want the girls to hang like defalted balloons?

Very cute suits!

I do have one question though. Is it just me or is it weird to see SWIM SUITS require hand washing?? :confused3

It's funny my body really doesn't require a swim dress (I'm a size 4) but I love not having to worry about anything showing, or rushing to get the cover up on (like I had done previously). I think 2 pieces are for really firm, younger women. Although I may weigh the same as I did 30 years ago - 7 kids later- things tend to shift around! Love, love, love the swim dresses!

If I was a size 4 I would not even have opened this thread! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The problem with swimsuit catalogs and websites like this particular one is that those models are all - what - maybe a size zero? Of COURSE they look good in those swim dresses. Put one on me and I bet I would like like a hippo in a tutu. :rotfl:

They are cute though.

:lmao: :rotfl2:

I sell in eBay and am selling a VERY plus sized high end swimsuit I found at a thrift store. My dress form is a size 6 and I pinned away!! Whoever buys it will think THEY will look like that when they get it...NOT!!!

It's the illusion they buy... the realism will hit them when they get it!! :lmao:
