Are strollers ever stolen?

Are you able to take a little bike chain and lock up the stroller to a railing or post? is this allowed? also, what would be your advice for a SMALLl stroller for 5 year old that can recline and also be easily taken on a plane? btw, how do you take a stroller on a plane? thanks :earsgirl:

No. Because of fire and evacuation rules, you can't lock your stroller to anything. The CMs need to be able to move strollers if necessary.
Actuclly, a lot of strollers are temporarily "lost" because people don't realize that CMs move them to keep the rows of strollers outside of rides orderly. If they didn't, there would soon be a big mess, with strollers not in any sort of lines.
If you want to use a lock, you can put the lock thru one set of tires, so that the CMs can tip it up on the other tires to move. Some people also use the lcok to keep the stroller from being folded. Anyone who is trying to take it will need to fold it to get it on the buses or into a car (and possibly on the monorail or boats, depending on how busy it is).

I think that is what I am going to do. (lock through back mechanism of stroller so it cannot be stolen) I took the new volo to the mall today and was almost panicked watching it and DD at the indoor playground. One aspect of buying a more expensive stroller is now I care if it is stolen.
