Are squinkies the new zhu zhu pets for this year?

I have noticed that too around here. I have been wondering the same thing. Have you checked ebay? I just had that thought!

ETA: There are quite a few pages posted on the completed listings. Abount half have sold. Might be the hot new item this year. We did buy DD a bracelet the other day. Figured it would be a good stocking stuffer!

I bought my dd one of the packs just the other day. She LOVED them. She already wants everything that goes with them. I too was thinking they may be the hot item this year. Might have to go back and stock up for xmas.

Yep, I have a feeling they might be... I've bought a pack for dd's as well as the big carrier case thingie. Also thinking zoobles might be sorta hard to come by too, so grabbed the carrier for those as well as a couple 2-packs.

I'll probably be kicking myself for not buying the store up in 2 months when you can't find them anywhere and they're going for 10 x's the amount on Ebay, lol!

I'm saving what I've bought for Christmas and birthdays (b-days are late november/early december, ugh).

I think so too. My daughter used her tooth fairy money to buy some at Target. They had everything when we went - all the bigger sets, packs, etc. Went back the next week and the only thing left was the display!

I've checked the past two weeks and nothing has been replenished yet.

My kids just saw an advertisement for them this morning and want them. So now I'll be hunting around for them. Might be a good time to get the store's stock schedule.

I just bit the bullet and went to Walmart and spent $150 on Squinkie stuff...only have one more thing (that they only had one of and I need two of) that I need to buy and we will have the entire set.

At least there is one big thing knocked off of the Christmas list.

My daughter loves the commercials! She has tons of Littlest Pet Shop and has asked for LPS stuff. I don't want to miss out and 2 months from now have her writing to Santa that she wants these. The Walmart near me has them in stock, I guess I'll just buy it, I can always return them... or sell them on Ebay!

ETA: The commercial just came on and I asked DD which she would rather get as a gift LPS or Squinkies, and without hesitation she said, LPS. So no fad toys for us this year. Phew!
