Are "side" orders included with "entree"?

Quick question on the DDP. A few menus I've looked at have options for "Sides" listed after the entree options. It's usually a vegetable of some kind. Can we choose these as part of our "entree" when using a TS credit? They seem to range in price from less than $3 (Turf Club at SSR) to even $10 at Tutto Italia. :confused3

On the DDP if the entree item says "Roast Beef with mashed potatoes and a vegetable" or if the entree is listed as coming with a side then you get a side. If you opt to order an item listed under "Side" it would cost you extra.

This was the way it worked for us last year and I think it is still the same.

The same applies to counter service. If you order a cheese burger then you get that, a dessert and a beverage. If you order a "combo" which could be a burger with fries, you get the combo, a dessert and a beverage.

Yes, this is exactly the way it worked this year too. And every table service/menu restaurant we went to had something come with the entree. They all had some sort of bread or roll that came with the meal, too, often an specialty-type bread or roll and/or gourmet butter. All the steaks, filets, etc. came with some sort of potato or pasta like risotto and usually a green veggie like a couple spears of asparagus. (This was at both 1 credit & 2 credit restaurants, in May 2008 on paid DDP and September 2008 on Free Dining.) We always ordered "combos" or "platters" at counter service. It's not always french fries - the sides that come in the combos usually "match" the entree. Like at Flame Tree BBQ, the sides that come the BBQ chicken or ribs platter are baked beans and cornbread muffin.
