Are my reservations too close together?

I have a reservation for Oga's at 7:30pm and a reservation for Droid building at 8:40. I haven't been to Disney since Star Wars was built so I'm not sure how feasible that is. I do have options for an earlier Oga or a later Droid.

No you should be fine. Should have an hour for drinks and snacks. Give yourself a few minutes to walk to DD, but 10 should be plenty.

They used to put the reservation time at Oga's at 45 minutes. I don't think they are enforcing that as most people are done before that.
Even if you stay a bit longer, you should have plenty of time.
Before you go to Ogas, I would be sure you know where you go to build the Droid. Some of the entrances are not well marked and easy to miss.

As others have said, you should be fine. Your only real concern might be that the Oga's reservation is unlikely to be exactly at the reservation time however you could always leave after a shorter stay to make sure you make your droid build reservation.
