Are grad nights always the same the weekends?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew if the Grad Nights are always the same weekends every year or if they change. When are they published for 2006? I am really hoping to book my trip for next year in a few months, but I would prefer to skip these weekends! Any help would be great!!

With a few exceptions, we usually go to WDW during April school vacation. It seems its always at least once during our trip. I know one evening we had to wait to get into Paradise Island because that particular time the party started there and the students were moved to the MK. I never heard any noise that I didn't expect to hear.

No not always the same weekends. Last 2 in April but I;ve also seen it the last weekend in April and the First one in May. This year it may have been earlier. I suspect it may have something to do with when Easter falls.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe if I call disney and ask when the grad nights are for next year they can let me know? We were going to go the last week of April 2006, but changed it because of the grad nights, now we are thinking the first week in May. Might have to change it again, we were thinking about the all-stars and I read that is where the grads stay.

A couple of years ago I was there Mid-May and they had grad nights then too.

If you are really that worried about it, forget the last half of April and all of May. MOST grads do not stay in the resorts so that shouldn't be a big concern anyway. The All Stars are noisy all the time, IMO.

The grads from the local high schools go home after grad night. . Grads from other schools may stay there but I have been at WDW when kids come from all over for a band competition, for cheerleading, etc. While you might be able to avoid Grad night, and I am not sure why it would matter if it were a local school and you weren't staying at a MK resort, there is no guarantee that you will avoid other planned, or late planned events. Disney's business has long ago expanded into conventions, groups, meetings, etc. There is no guarantee that you won't run into lots of people with whom you may not want to vacation with. Wait until summer and you may encounter the Brazilians. They make grad night look like a picnic.

Much will depend on when Easter falls. Unless Easter falls on one of the last 2 weekends of April, Grad nights will be held then.
