Are gate-checked strollers allowed on ME?

Just started wondering about this b/c of another thread...

I thought I had read that you are NOT allowed to take checked luggage onto ME (in other words, you cannot pick it up from the carousel yourself and get it loaded onto the ME bus - that it must go on the "luggage truck." )

How are they handling gate-checked strollers? Do they treat it like carryon luggage and allow it on the ME bus, or do they treat it like checked luggage and require it to go on the "luggage truck?"

I can do without my luggage for a few hours, but I can't do without the stollers!!!

The motorcoaches that are used for DME feature large storage underneath the passenger compartment. Your stroller can go there.

Gate checked strollers wouldn't be a problem because you would have already gotten it at the plane.

Valuables such as laptop computers and cameras, also medicines, keys should not be checked and therefore may be brought with you. It also makes sense that items that would be needed immediately at the theme parks, including strollers, should be brought with you too even if you did have to go to the carousel to get it.

Items with Magical Express tags cannot be retrieved at the carousel because they don't show up there.
