Are drop offs allowed at the parks?

Asking for a friend who is traveling with extended family and is wondering if it is allowable for someone in the family to drop some members off without having to pay the parking fee to get in. My assumption is yes since Ubers are allowed to do so, but I always stay on property so don't have personal experience with it. Thanks!

Yes.
The drop-off/pick-up spots are near the park gates...
EXCEPT MK's, which is at TTC/MK parking lot area.

For MK, it would be closer to drop guests at the Contemporary, and they could walk to the MK gates from there.

I have dropped off family a few times

I just mention to the parking fee person that my intention is to drop-off or pick-up.

I am then told to follow a painted line on the road.

The Drop-off area was at or near the taxi staging area.

We do this every year at different parks (drop off and collection). We have been dropped off near contemporary resort for MK without a problem.
