Are crocs really that comfortable?

Were your crocs comfortable enough to wear all day at the parks?

I've been checking the results and they've been consistently staying around 80% for yes. I think that's pretty good!! I wish people could get passed the unattractiveness and just try them out. There are lots of styles now, not just the original ugly ones. You're missing out!!!
And I'd wager that a good number (not ALL of course, or even half) of the votes of "no" are people that have never, EVER worn them for hours and hours in parks. The vote is based on aesthetics which IMO, isn't a qualified vote as far as the question was concerned.
As I said before, I think they aren't exactly great fashion ;) but I don't care, I wear them anyway. Caring (or not specifically if you honestly think about it) what you feet "look like" is exactly what gets you to needing a visit on podiatry eventually! A good friend of mine used to be a podiatrist and believe me, I heard the stories.
Wear something that is akin to nothing (which is almost all of the fashionable shoes out there) on concrete floors for years and see how good your feet and legs feel. OUCH! I had plantars fasciitus at 25! From there on, I wore tennies no matter WHAT clothing I was wearing. This was pre-Crocs.

I apologize in advance, but I didn't read all the comments. Hope you don't mind me asking my question. Are you talking about what I would refer to as the "original" Croc? The larger type? I know they have all different types now, i.e. a Mary Jane style. I'm wondering about the comfort of some of those styles.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is it. It's all you could find anyway for ages.

Seems like some people are far too judgmental and worried about what others are doing. :rolleyes1 Vanity is ugly too. Just sayin'.
Reminds me of the Star-bellied Sneetches.

:rotfl2:, We wore our crocs for EMH my feet did fine, my husband needed to take breaks and will never do it again:rotfl:

I bought a pair called "olivia" for our trip last fall to WDW and I love them!!! Very comfy and they look cute with jeans or shorts/capris! :thumbsup2

I am in the camp of those who think Crocs are hideously ugly. However, my mom is a Crocs convert, and I've tried several styles on at her insistence (from the terrible garden clogs to the cuter flip flops) Verdict: they are the most uncomfortable things I've EVER worn. It isn't comfortable walking down an aisle of the shoe store in them, I can't imagine wearing them at Disney.

Earlier in the thread I wrote about my Blitzen -- fuzzy lined crocs...and being excited because it was ALMOST time for my warmer crocs.

Guess what....I wore them last weekend when it was chilly at night.

I'm happy....it's time to wear my absoltuely favorite crocs!
