Are Crocs in style?

Crocs? My opinion of them has been unchanged for the past twenty odd years. They look cute on small children and remind me of Dutch children in wooden clogs. Anyone over the age of 8 should just forget about ‘em. Of course I feel the same way about Uggs which always make me think of a West Indian phrase called“sawfootclath” that translates to sore foot cloth.
Guess I’m old.

I agree- look cute on kids but ridiculous on adults!

The teen girls in my area wear them- especially the athletes- as pregame and.or postgame shoes. White crocs and black athletic socks- it’s not a look I like, but the teen girls seem to think it’s a winning look!

oh yeah there is someting wrong with wearing them....I am a caretaker for a property across the street. have my cars parked there, store my auction finds there and rake their yard. So was over there two days ago and a stranger had walked up and down the sandy drive way, their tell-tale tracks very evident and all my goods exposed to them....I was concerned until wife washed patio....my croc tracks matched those in the sand....hmmm so easy to slip into when doing night time closing of windows on cars.

One plus side is if you have Mickey Crocks with the circular openings cut to look like hidden mickey's and you spend the day out in the sun with no socks you will have Mickey's head burnt into your feet. It takes a long time for those to disappear. First they are red and then they tan and about sometime in the middle of winter they disappear. **

Welcome to the boards!!! my post is actually a riddle as are most of my posts. I was working across the street to clean the winter visitor yard, wearing my work shoes. went a day later and saw different tracks...I was concerned, until my crocs picking up water left a set of tracks, just like the one across the street. had gone over to close the windows...in my crocs....but you are right on, worn out treads on crocs are very slippery....best to toss them away have fun here!!!! Yuma, Arizona
