Are Crocs in style?

My dr recommended them when I had foot issues to at least wear around the house. I’ve been wearing them about 3 years now. I know they are popular for healthcare workers to wear.

I even got a pair of crocs flip flops this year and they were pretty comfortable.

My kids and I love them and have worn them from the last craze til now - they are pool shoes or walk around shoes when we don't feel like putting on sneakers...

But, even I know, these things are never fashionable...but they are spectacularly functional...

I’ve never owned a real pair, not willing to spend the money on them. I do have a couple pair of knock offs and love them.

I once forgot to bring shoes to WDW and had to buy a pair of pink Crocs. It felt a little funny but my feet were great all week! I still have them, but haven’t worn them in a long time. I also bought a pair that look like sneakers that I liked on someone else. I wear those sometimes around the house, but rarely. I should probably wear them more often.

I just bought Tropical Croc flip flop sandals on sale for our Hawaii trip next year. They were only $21. Love them!

Now they are down to $17.49!

My kid who's soon turning 20 asked for Crocs with those little charms for her birthday. Have Crocs made a come back? (Of course I got them for her, if she loves them that's enough).

I think so!

The mall I visit has people waiting in line to enter( because of covid capacity rules). If people are willing to stand in line to shop for Crocs, there must be a good reason.

I boiught myself another pair a few years ago to wear in my yard. I still had all the Disney charms from way back. I was glad I kept them.

In my experience, Crocs are in style for the tween competitive swimmer set... You know, Crocs accessorized with stingy bleached out hair, damp socks, unattractive swimwear, chlorine perfume, ragged sweatpants, googles, swim caps, banana peels, team hoodies....

Seriously, I don't know anyone but swimmer kids that would be caught dead in those things.....

They’re back! Definitely with the teen/young adult crowd. We were down the shore this summer with family, 8 kids between the ages of 15 - 25, dying to get to the croc outlet, I was so confused.

My young 20's aren't wearing them again (but they keep a pair on my porch) but I just bought some this summer for shoes I can slip on to go outside when my hands are full. I did wear them to the ice cream shop last weekend but normally they stay home!

Well, my Haunted Mansion Crocs are the height of fashion, so long as I only wear them indoors . . .

They have more support than slippers, so they are more comfortable.

I have 5 pairs of Crocs sandals and wouldn't dream of, especially, traveling without them. Wear them as bedroom slippers, shoes to change into at home when I walk in from outside, in a hotel room walking around, in the shower plus walking around Disney World. Have gotten caught in numerous massive rains at DW and boy, was I glad I had Crocs on.

My teen/tween both wanted them this year. Niece/Nephew did as well. I used to love them, but haven't had any for quite a while. I'm thinking about getting myself a pair.

My two teen (and also my tween) daughters all have crocs and they all put the charms on them too. And they have to be crocs, not generic ones. They each have multiple pairs in many colors. Do I guess they’re in again. It’s funny because they used to make fun of me for wearing them at Disney

Maybe for older people, my kids wouldn’t have been caught dead in them a year ago, my daughter bought a pair for her sister as a joke in the past, she’s now wearing them.
