Are cribs available?

I forgot to ask when I made our reservations, but can we request a regular crib at the VWL? I know they have pack-n-plays, but I know my 14 month old will be more comfortable in a crib.

I've also read on other boards that there are companies which rent cribs. Can anyone tell me of any experiences with these companies, if cribs are not available at the resort?

We stayed at BCV in October and they did have cribs. Its not totally full size but its a lot better than the PnPs. It was metal (chrome?) and had a regular mattress. My DH was way more comfortable. It had a sheet but no blankets so you may wish to pack your own. We just doubled up a blanket for him. Another plus, it was on wheels. You could just push it around wherever you needed unlike the PnPs which to me are a pain to move.

I just called Housekeeping and they wheeled one up ready to go.

beyond 3 mos old. We've always rented cribs from Tracey at abbf. She and her husband and wonderful and the stuff is always so clean. There are a few cribs at the resorts but they are first come first serve. This is a vacation for me, too, so there was no way I was taking the chance that there would not be one.
