Are American Soldiers being held in Afgan???

Here is a link to a story from all places-Pravda. But it claims missing soldiers are being held hostage. I havent heard this before so does anybody think this is true???? or heard anything else about this??http://english.pravda.ru/main/2002/11/27/40015.html

BOB, it's hard to determine the veracity of such reports. However, this administration has consistently lied and secreted information about military actions. Bush-Rumsfeld have essentially eliminated coverage by the press of combat situations, so it's difficult to believe in their "account" of battles/losses etc.

Would I buy a used car from George W???? . I wouldn't buy a scooter from him . When is 2004 rolling around???? Not soon enough.............

I am agreeing with Eros re: validity of the story and the coverage knock out of press coverage. It is possible that there are soldiers MIA.. however if so it is being kept VERY Quiet here.

Altho I am not a fan of dubya's.. I try to support our President. I pray.. yup, pray for peace. I also pray that political leaders around the world minds will be opened so that they see that this war is of no good use to anyone anywhere. Please Eros don't scold me for praying, it comforts me and I believe that prayers are answered... sometimes we just don't get the answer we were looking for at the time.

I too am looking forward to 2004..... I would like to vote for a President that will have a world view of peace.

EROS I agree that the validity of the story is questionable as i believe that the familiesof the loved ones would get a lot of media attention if their kids/family members were unaccounted for and no answers were given. The media wouldnt sit on this type of story as they have a anti-bush bias anywat as well as a anti-military bias!!
If you want peace in this world support our military which is the only thing that keeps the world from total chaos!!!!!!
