Are all BLT units declared/opened on August 4th?

Trying to gauge how likely my wait list is to come through for Aug 15-19. I figure if they're got additional units undeclared that might yet be declared before August, we've got a decent shot!

Yes and No

All units will be open, but only those that have been sold to DVC members are available for DVC members to reserve. The rest are for standard cash reservations through disney.

So, if only 25% of the BLT has been sold by 4th august, only 25% of the rooms will be availble to fulfil your waitlist, so there is still a big chance that despite the resort being 3/4 empty, you will get shut out.

I guess I was hoping/thinking that they don't add capacity for reservations on an ongoing basis as sales occur, but rather in several large chunks at a time. Since sales are ongoing and appear to be decently brisk under the circumstances, I suppose I'm hoping for another chunk before August

They do declare inventory in "chunks". They have to keep ahead of sales (by law).
