No, AKV includes both buildings so AKV points can be used at either.
The reason you are seeing these posts is that Jambo House sold out last year and Kidani isn't open yet. Anyone who purchased after Jambo House was sold out received ownership interest in units being built at Kidani. Since Kidani isn't available for occupancy yet those with newer contracts ("Kidani points") can't book anywhere at AKV until the planned opening of Kidani in May 2009.
DVC requires that your unit is available for occupancy before you can book at other resorts, just like they are doing now with the booking restrictions on BLT. They gave DP to those who purchased recently so they could stay somewhere now but those DPs were limited to SSR, the
Disneyland resorts and I believe trading out (via II/RCI).
So for some newer AKV owners they can't use their AKV points to stay there until May when their units will be available for occupancy. Those who bought into AKV earlier and got Jambo House units can book at Jambo now.
