Are 3 kids (one age 2) too many in a studio or 1 bdr?

Wow, lot's to think about! We usually stay out in the parks way too late and sleep in each morning. Since we go at Easter time, the parks are open late at night. I would love a quiet, relaxing vacation, but the kids just won't let it happen! They even had me on the Tower of Terror a couple of weeks ago :hyper: I know that will never happen again! Anyway, thank you so much for your invaluable information. I'm not sure what to do yet, but at least I have some great ideas to think about. Thanks so much ::yes::

We have three children, 8,6, and 2. We have always had all of us in one room at the all-stars without any problems or dislikes. Disney does allow under age 3 in a crib. Rooms at the all-stars are around 250+/- sq. ft. They are definately smaller than a DVC studio. However, some people do prefer to have more room to spread out. It's up to you on what you prefer.

For us, we asked our DVC guide if there were any restrictions on how many family members can be in a studio. Her reply was that we could always have our 3 kidees with us in a studio. However, they would not provide extra bedding. However, once they were 18, we could not have more than 4 adults.

hope this helps.

Like everything else with DVC; it depends on the traveling group, what they like, what they consider a good value for points and also what they consider "much less" points.
During the highest pt value season (premier) a standard view 1 BR at BWV is a total of 14 pts more for the week as opposed to a OKW 1 BR and a preferred view 1 BR at BWV/BCV/VWL would be 54 more pts for a week.
A standard view BWV studio would be 9 more pts for a week than a OKW studio and a preferred view studio at BWV or VWL or BCV would be 34 more pts for the week than a studio at OKW. For many the additional pts are well worth what they get in return.
As the value of the DVC seasons decreases so does the difference in the pts between OKW and the other WDW resorts.
For the location, amenities, services etc that you get with a BWV standard view villa, I personally think they are the best value to be had at any DVC resort. However I must admit that we have been bitten big time by the the guaranteed boardwalk view villas at BWV; so whenever they are available we will often bite the bullet and go for the gusto! LOL!!!
But that is what is so great about DVC--there is something for everyone!!!
