Are 2006 pts still being given?

I am contemplating a 50 pt add on at SSR. Are the 2006 pts still being given when purchasing 2007 pts? That might sway me to add on sooner...

I am sure there is someone that would have more knowledge about this, but I spoke to a CM about possibly making an initial purpose on Wednesday night. He told me that he could give me a the discounts on both AKV and SSR. I asked about the use year and he said that he could go back to December as my use year so I would have 2006 points and then get 2007 this December. He also said that even though we were supposed to pay a minimum of 10% down, he would work with me on that also.

Needless to say, we ended up making on offer on a BWV resale.

I left something out of my previous post, he said the could go back to December 2006 for SSR but could only go back to March 2007 on AKV

You will have the same Use Year as your original purchase with an add-on purchase - so as long as you have an June, August, September, October or December Use Year, you can still get 2006 points. Those with February, March and April Use Years will only get 2007 points for purchases directly thru DVC. Add-ons can be as few as 25 points.

For those making an initial purchase, the Use Year may be whatever you want (except at AKV) - with the minimum purchase of 160 points.

Thanks! I have an April UY so that doesn't include me. I think I might wait until the fall to do an add-on. I know that prices will go up, but I will take my chances. There is sure to be another incentive for SSR to try to sell it out.
